On the first Saturday of every other month, join the Puente Hills Youth@Work cohort for a hike from the Workman Mill Road Staging Area to Nike Hill. We will start at the Puente Hills Test Plot on the north side of Workman Mill Road, taking time to observe and monitor the progress of the California native and climate-adaptive species planted at the site. As the hike progresses along the Schabarum-Skyline Trail towards the former Puente Hills Landfill, we will observe native ecologies and discuss the future of the Puente Hills Regional Park.

Parking is available at the staging area on the north and south sides of Workman Mill Road. Restrooms are not available at the site or along the trail, but we recommend several businesses along Workman Mill Road and Crossroads Parkway.
